We are a faith-based charity working for Hindus residing in Milton Keynes and neighbouring counties including Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Herefordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our Strategic purpose is put our faith into action by working alongside communities to improve health and wellbeing, reduce inequalities and isolation, strengthen social and spiritual connections, and empower people to lead positive change. Hindu Devi Mandir Milton Keynes Mission

Our Aim

The aim is to construct and equip a Hindu temple as a dedicated place of worship for Devi Shakti, the Hindu Goddess of Power. Additionally, this temple will serve as a platform for conducting social rituals outlined in Hindu scriptures. It will support people following Hinduism throughout life’s significant events

COMMUNITY SERVICES

To serve the cultural and social needs of Hindus in Milton Keynes and nearby areas, including Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Oxfordshire. We focus on religious activities. These activities include offering prayers (puja), organising Hindu festivals, and holding religious and spiritual discourses

PHILOSOPHY & EDUCATION

To raise awareness about the theo-philosophy of Hinduism as a way of life, we aim to educate the younger generation about Hindu scriptures. Also By doing so, we hope to help them understand the values of Hinduism and, consequently, support them in making informed choices about their beliefs and faith

Our Belief

Interfaith dialogues increase understanding and awareness of different religious and spiritual beliefs. As a result, these dialogues strengthen community peace and harmony, facilitating greater acceptance and tolerance

To promote spiritual harmony in the community, we organize events focused on spiritual education. Additionally, we provide Vedic discourses, yoga practices, and meditation sessions. Through these efforts, we aim to foster a more spiritually connected environment.

Hindu Devi Mandir and Cultural Centre has taken an initiative to build a Temple (Mandir) to worship Mother Goddess (Maa Kali). Therefore, we are requesting all Hindus living in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, and the Greater London area to come forward and join hands to make this happen
